These fire escape images are all white buildings from across the five boroughs - Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. I went on a long journey to find them in the city, walking over a hundred miles, looking block by block, hoping to discover them. It was a big challenge, but the result is pure and elegant, showing a very unique side of NYC.
